You may take the exam for the German language course at any of the language schools in and around Offenburg that offer them (website in German only); or use the link here (website in German only). The "TestDaF" is a test in German as a foreign language.

Which requirements do I have to meet to enroll as a regular student at Offenburg University?

  • Secondary-school final certificate, translated and certified by the Studienkolleg Konstanz
  • German language certificate (DSH 2, Telc C1, TestDaF 4, or Goethe certificate level C2)
  • Residence permit
  • Proof of having taken the orientation test (the test is available in German only).
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Proof of health insurance

What if I don't have any of the required documents?

Go to the TestAS website (available in English as well as Arabic). TestAS is a test of your ability to study at a German university. At the same time you have to take a university qualification exam. Passing it counts as an equivalent to a secondary-school certificate.
