Exchange Students and Special Programs
Offenburg University of Applied Sciences maintains numerous relationships with
partner universities worldwide, and currently participates in the following programmes: Erasmus+, DAAD Mexico, Malaysia-Programme and the Baden-Württemberg-Scholarship Programme.
Exchange students and scholarship holders from DAAD usually spend one to two, max. of three semesters at Offenburg University. International students wanting to participate in an exchange programme must first apply to their home University or the DAAD, and will then be nominated with us.
Language and Preparation:
As Bachelor programmes are generally taught in German, it is necessary to have a B2 level. In order to (additionally) prepare to studies and everyday life, we offer a Summer Language Course before the winter Semester. Before the summer semester, our oligatory orientation days take place in order to prepare to German language, cross-cultural aspects and Geman culture and sociey.
Only the international Master's degree programmes from the Graduate School (CME, IBC, ECM and MPE) are taught completely in English. In ECM, two to three lectures are taught in German in the 3. semester.
A list of english-taught lectures for exchange students is available and is updated regularly. Bachelor students can choose elective courses from the Master's degree programmes and core subjects upon request.
Study regulations and module handbooks for all study programmes at Offenburg University can be checked by chosing the respective programme.
Please check "Academic Calendar" for semester and lecture periods and other important dates.
