Professor für Allg. und Internationale Betriebswirtschaft sowie Leiter des Institute for Trade and Innovation (IfTI) an der Hochschule Offenburg.

Zudem Visiting Professor an der Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University, Honorary Fellow an der School of Government & International Affairs, Durham University und External Examiner an der Cass Business School, City, University of London. Zuvor mehrjährige Tätigkeit als Lehrbeauftragter und Guest Lecturer in Deutschland und Großbritannien sowie Mitglied im Niedersächsischen Landesjustizprüfungsamt.

Langjährige Tätigkeit in Beratung und Industrie, unter anderem als Partner und Economics & Policy Leader bei PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Managing Director der Exportkredit- und Investitionsgarantien der Bundesrepublik Deutschland sowie Head of Guarantees and Export Finance bei Airbus Group (ehemals EADS). Vizepräsident der Berner Union.
