Data Privacy

The personal data you enter into the Graduate School Alumni Portal can only be viewed by other registered participants of the Alumni Portal. Only former students of the Graduate School, as well as the staff of the Graduate School and the IT department of Offenburg University have access to your personal data.

The personal data you enter into the portal, is used for networking purposes among Alumni Portal participants.

The personal data you enter into the portal serves the following purposes:

  • The opportunity for participants to network and contact each other in a simple and interest-related way.
  • The opportunity for the Graduate School staff to contact you and send you invitations to alumni events, and further information and news about the Graduate School and Offenburg University, etc.

Furthermore, Offenburg University reserves the right to compile anonymous statistics from the stored data.

All data in your profile can be changed or deleted by you at any time. In addition, you can make some of your personal data invisible to other participants of the Alumni Portal, so that they can then only be viewed by you and the administrators of the Alumni Portal.

By sending a written message to gs@hs-offenburg.de you can unsubscribe from the Alumni Portal at any time and thus make your contact details completely invisible. In addition, you may also request partial or complete deletion of your contact details.
