Academic Retreat: Writing and the Zurich Resource Model (ZRM)

Writing Retreat in November: Conclude the Academic Year Productively with the Scientifically Validated ZRM Method

02.11.2026 · Promotion

Anyone engaged in extensive academic writing – whether preparing conference presentations, scientific publications, or working on a doctoral thesis – is familiar with these phases: the core idea is established, yet the page remains blank. Frequently, we find ourselves writing against an invisible resistance, constrained by perfectionism or the pressure to deliver immediate results.

When the mind is saturated but the words do not flow, two factors are usually essential: a change of scenery and the appropriate methodology. It is precisely for this reason that we have developed a unique format for our upcoming November retreat: a dedicated writing retreat integrated with the Zurich Resource Model (ZRM).

The objective is to enable participants to conclude the retreat feeling inspired, possessing a positive mindset, maintaining high motivation, and equipped with a structured plan for the coming months to maximize productivity before the end of the calendar year.

The ZRM is a scientifically validated method that serves as a psychological catalyst during this retreat. By combining targeted resource management with practical writing sessions, we address cognitive blocks at their core and activate subconscious potential. In this way, the ZRM functions as a highly effective accelerator for your individual writing projects.
