Through close collaboration with Northumbria University in Newcastle (UK), you’ll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a real-world, international setting and gain valuable intercultural skills.

What to Expect: A Focus on Innovation and Sustainability

This seminar is dedicated to the central themes of the modern economy:

• Future-Oriented Topics: You’ll explore social innovation, sustainability, and the development of global business models.

• Academic rigor: Through an English-language case study, you’ll learn how to bridge the gap between theory and practical application—from the fundamentals of innovation management to complex frameworks.

• Methodological Skills: Under the guidance of faculty from both Universities, you’ll work with modern tools such as the Business Model Innovation Process or the Triple Bottom Line Approach.

Your intensive workshop in Newcastle

The project takes place as part of a multi-day intensive workshop on-site in England:

• International Teamwork: At the heart of the program is your work in mixed teams composed of German students with a master's degree and British MBA students. This enhances your language skills and your ability to work in a team in a global context.

• Final Pitch: At the end, you’ll present the solutions you’ve developed in a final pitch, which will be evaluated on the spot.

• Networking: In addition to the academic work, you’ll have time for personal interaction during group evenings in Newcastle.
