Recognition for Outstanding Academic Performance in Undergraduate Studies
The following students were honored with the award for the best undergraduate performance for their outstanding achievements:
Felix Lösle (Elektrotechnik/Informationstechnik program, EI2 GPA: 1.55)
Peter Heitzmann (Mechatronik und Autonome Systeme program, MKA2 GPA: 1.1)
Yann Sand (Maschinenbau program, GPA MA2: 1.31)
In addition to the award ceremony, the field trip—which was attended by more than 20 students from the Elektrotechnik/Informationstechnik, Mechatronik und Autonome Systeme, and Maschinenbau programs—offered a wide range of insights into operational processes, products, and various career paths at Parker Hannifin. Frank Durban, Division Marketing & Commercial Manager of the Electric Motion & Pneumatic Division, presented the company, its product portfolio, and the role of a product manager. Stefan Kempf, Location Manager of the Electric Motion & Pneumatic Division in Offenburg, gave the students a tour of the production facilities. The program was complemented by practical insights into technical fields of work: Edgar Strack, Electronic Hardware Engineer, explained the role of a hardware developer, while Alexander Becker, Motion Systems Engineer, presented activities in the areas of testing and software development.
Hochschule Offenburg would like to thank Parker Hannifin for the foundation of the award and for the informative field trip, which supports the exchange between the university and the professional world.
