Science Days 2026: Hochschule Offenburg to Have Its Own Booth at Europa-Park
From October 22 to 24, 2026, Europa-Park in Rust will host Science Days, Germany’s oldest science festival. Universities, schools, and companies will present hands-on experiments for school classes, families, and anyone aged 10 and older interested in STEM.
Hochschule Offenburg will have its own booth and is focusing this year on the topic of light and colors. How are the colors of the rainbow created? What makes light so special? At the booth, visitors can explore these questions for themselves and build their own grating spectrometer. This allows them to break light down into its constituent colors and observe the results. Students and staff from the University of Offenburg will explain the physics behind these phenomena and answer questions about study opportunities in Offenburg.
A special highlight at the booth is a small humanoid robot. University staff will be on hand to operate it and answer questions about it.
