Strengthening International Partnerships at the ChallengeEU Strategy Committee Meeting in Valencia
This week, HSO Rector Prof. Dr. Stephan Trahasch and the prorector for internationalization, Prof. Dr. Tobias Hagen, joined ChallengeEU Secretary General Sofiia Hecker at the ChallengeEU Alliance Strategy Board Meeting in Valencia. During the meeting, representatives from the nine partner institutions continued their discussions on further developing the alliance’s strategic direction, refining common priorities, and strengthening European cooperation in the long term.
The results of this exchange form an important foundation for the further implementation of the Alliance’s shared goals: specialization in institutional cooperation, developing innovative, transnational teaching and learning formats, and promoting a more closely networked European higher education landscape. Through coordinated strategic planning, synergies between the partner institutions are systematically expanded, sustainable structures are strengthened, and new impetus is provided for mobility, innovation, and social responsibility. In this way, the Alliance makes a concrete contribution to the further development of an inclusive, cooperative, and future-oriented European Higher Education Area.
We would like to extend our special thanks to our partner university, the Universidad Europea de València, for hosting this important exchange.
