Making Windmills with the Sustainability Club at the Kinder-Uni
During the hands-on activity, the children made lots of pinwheels out of paper, wire, wooden beads, a paper straw, glue, and some tape. Of course, they were allowed to paint them in bright colors. The event was part of the Kinder-Uni, where children between the ages of eight and twelve spend an afternoon learning about various subjects through lectures and experiments. The goal is to spark their interest in science, technology, economics, and media. The Kinder-Uni of the University takes place twice a year.
