Everything You Need to Know
Course Content
The part-time program covers all the key areas of expertise you need for leadership roles:
Management & Strategy: You’ll learn to strategically align companies and maintain a broad perspective in Strategic Management. You’ll develop expert knowledge in marketing, project management, and logistics.
Economics & Finance: You’ll gain a deep understanding of economic relationships in “Specific Economic Aspects” and learn about the legal framework in “Economic Law.” In “Managerial Finance & Accounting,” you’ll master finance, from cost accounting to controlling.
Leadership & Change: True leadership requires strong communication skills and adaptability. You’ll develop your skills in Communication & Leadership, shape the digital transformation in Elements of Digitalization, and guide change processes in Change Management.
Practice & Application: You’ll apply the methods and tools you’ve learned directly in your day-to-day professional life. In the Student Consulting Project, you’ll tackle real-world problems—often from your own company, and independently if needed. The master’s degree thesis is also typically based on a specific practical project but can be flexibly adapted to individual topics. This ensures an optimal integration of theory, practice, and application.
The MBA program focuses on application: projects and assignments can be directly integrated into your daily work. This allows you to immediately implement new methods and tools within your company. Through interactive workshops, case studies, and simulation exercises, you’ll work with fellow students and regional executives to develop solutions for real-world challenges.
Here’s how personalized your program is:
Elective Courses: From our list of required electives, you can choose from fields such as engineering, business, IT, law, languages, soft skills, or robotics. This allows you to tailor your program specifically to your interests.
Credit Recognition: Prior coursework (such as from master’s programs, above-average professional experience, or language certificates) can be applied toward your degree during the first semester.
Field trips: Experience innovation firsthand—regionally or internationally during International Week, for example, in Silicon Valley or Shanghai.
Small, diverse classes enable personalized support and close interaction with lecturers and fellow students from various fields, including engineers, Informatik specialists, and students from the natural sciences, business, and the humanities.
