3D Printing and Inclusion in the Classroom: Hochschule Offenburg Invites You to the “Connexion 3D” Experience Day
How can innovative technologies such as 3D printing enrich everyday school life and enable inclusive learning? The German-French “Connexion 3D” experience day on November 18, 2026, at the Freiburg University of Education will explore this question. Hochschule Offenburg is co-organizing the event as part of the European-funded Education3D project.
The event is aimed at teachers from all types of schools and special education and counseling centers (SBBZs), educational professionals, students, and anyone interested in education from Germany and France. The focus is on how 3D printing can be effectively integrated into (inclusive) classroom instruction. This includes the practical use of tactile, 3D-printed teaching materials to support inclusive educational concepts.
Insights, hands-on workshops, and cross-border exchange:
Participants can look forward to a varied program from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
Keynote presentations & best practices: Practical insights demonstrate how 3D printing creates new approaches to learning and teaching.
Interactive hands-on workshops: The focus is on getting a hands-on start with the technology. Participants will learn how to use 3D printers, discover existing templates on established modeling platforms, and take away concrete ideas for their own classrooms.
Cross-border networking: The event provides an opportunity for professional exchange with colleagues from the Upper Rhine region.
