Project Goal
The goal of the TRAIL project is to establish the joint trinational master’s program in Sustainable Business Development This unique program, which focuses on sustainable business development, is being jointly developed, coordinated, and implemented by the FHNW School of Business (Switzerland), Hochschule Offenburg (Germany), and the EM Strasbourg Business School, Université de Strasbourg (France).
Project Description
Students attend the three universities, combine expertise in the fields of sustainability, business management, and digitalization, and apply this knowledge directly in practice. Graduates will be able to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and provide them with sustainable support as they adapt to environmental and social changes as well as the digital transformation.
The first year of the project is dedicated to preparing the academic program. The pilot phase of the program will begin in September 2024 with the first cohort of students.
The TRAIL project has a total budget of €2,885,870 and is funded by Interreg Upper Rhine The subproject at Hochschule Offenburg has a budget of €1,042,856 and receives €625,713 in funding.
