Course Content
The world of IT moves fast—and so do we. ENITS teaches practical skills on the one hand, while also fostering scientific methods and introducing you to the latest research. Over the course of three semesters, you’ll develop problem-solving skills and gain hands-on experience in IT security and organizational security.
1st Semester: Fundamentals & Analysis
You’ll sharpen your eye for technical and legal details. The curriculum includes modules such as Data Mining and Anonymity & Surveillance. Ethical issues and EU law are also covered, enabling you to assess security holistically.
2nd Semester: Management & Application
Now it’s time for implementation. You’ll learn to assess risks in global security management and identify vulnerabilities in mobile systems. In a group project, you’ll work with others to solve real-world problems.
3rd Semester: Your Thesis
In the final semester, you’ll focus entirely on your master’s thesis. This is often done in collaboration with a company or as part of our research projects.
You will acquire the following competencies:
professional knowledge in the areas of technical IT security, organizational security, and their legal aspects,
application-specific methods and process knowledge regarding the design and hardening of more secure information systems,
application-specific methods and process knowledge regarding the attackability and vulnerability of information systems,
skills for research-oriented work on issues of applied IT security, as well as
practical problem-solving skills.

as an IT security coordinator, network and security specialist, or as a technology solution architect for IT security

To start the “Enterprise and IT Security” Master’s program, you need a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. or B.Eng.) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Corporate and IT Security, or a comparable field with a GPA of at least 2.5. Your degree program should be worth 210 ECTS credits, and you should have completed at least 10 ECTS credits in IT security during your bachelor’s studies.
We process admission for a maximum of 25 students per year. This ensures intensive support. For the selection process, we carefully review your bachelor’s GPA and your statement of purpose.

Tuition fees for (international) students
The costs per semester are as follows:
Tuition fees for non-EU citizens: €1,500
Second degree: €650 (for EU citizens who have already completed a master’s degree in Germany)
Service fee: €150 (for EU citizens and all students exempt from tuition fees in the state of Baden-Württemberg*)
Semester fees: €134 (for all students)
*Good to know: You are exempt from the €1,500 tuition fee if you:
have earned your high school diploma at a German school
are a citizen of the EU (European Union) or EEC (European Economic Community) (or their spouse/child)
are recognized as a refugee in Germany
are coming to us as an exchange student from a partner university
were already enrolled in the program prior to the 2017/2018 winter semester
