For multilateral development banks, innovation becomes a key issue focusing not only on financing innovation but also on innovative financing, as well as the internal perspective. With an increasingly short-term nature of private financial markets, the role of multilateral development banks has become more important. The project (conducted in form of a focus group seminar) investigates the external and internal innovation perspective of the ITFC in order to secure cost-efficiency and to develop tailored, innovative business models.
