Application
The program is open to all applicants who hold a college degree in a media-related field with a grade of 2.5 or higher. Applications must be submitted by two deadlines each year at the latest:
January 15 for the following summer semester
July 15 for the following winter semester
The application process can be completed step by step online via the application portal.
You do not need to have a final transcript at the time of application—you may apply with a provisional transcript. However, you must have successfully completed your degree by February 28 or August 31, respectively.
An online portfolio must also be submitted as part of the application. This should consist of a maximum of three samples of academic and/or artistic work. Please send these samples via a web link by email to zulassungsamt@hs-offenburg.de.
The portfolio may include samples of work in the fields of media design, drawings, websites, animations, films, audio, and so on. In the fields of media business administration (or media management) or media informatics, for example, it may include written papers, project descriptions and results, or completed software projects, including documentation.
The included work may be from your previous studies—such as theses for a bachelor's degree or term papers—but it may also have been created outside of your academic studies. If submitting team projects, please clearly indicate your own contribution.
