Medien und Kommunikation
In einer Welt wachsender Informationsquellen, Medienvielfalt und Datenmengen spielt der Umgang mit Daten und Informationen eine entscheidende Rolle. Forschungsprojekte an der HSO beschäftigen sich mit Fragen der Mediendidaktik und des Mediendesigns (zum Beispiel E-learning), der Medieninformatik und des Medienmanagements (zum Beispiel Marketingkommunikation, Usability). Ebenso ist die künstlerische Forschung mit interaktiven Medien ein Teil des Forschungsschwerpunkts.

| Kurzbeschreibung | Ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) is supported by wired (Ethernet Time Sensitive Networking – TSN) and wireless (Wi-Fi 6 or 802.11ax) and cellular (5G and 6G to come) technologies, paving the way for multi-technology redundancy using, for example, different 5G or 6G channels, Wi-Fi, Ethernet links, and potentially other wireless protocols. They are a driving force behind the Industry 4.0 and 5.0 transitions. In this thesis, this redundancy will be considered end-to-end (juxtaposition of technologies), relying on realistic simulation for formal validation and on the IRIMAS institute's SMART UHA mobile robots for in-situ experimentation. |
