Your dissertation is brilliant – but does the world know it yet? Seize the opportunity to take your research out of its niche and make it visible.

Theory Meets Practice
On March 10 and 11, 2026, move.mORe and the HSO Graduate Academy are hosting an intensive workshop on science communication. This offer is aimed at doctoral candidates of all disciplines and at all stages of their PhD. The focus is on teaching various aspects of science communication to make research results accessible and understandable beyond disciplinary boundaries.

Tangible Results and Individual Content
Participation enables the creation of individual communication media under professional guidance. Participants play an active role in shaping the program, as the work on their specific projects is at the heart of the retreat.

  • Output: Production of, for example, a short video concept, poster, or infographic.

  • Costs: The costs for the seminar, including overnight stay and meals at Seminarhaus Krone (Schenkenzell), are fully covered by the Graduate Academy for doctoral candidates from HSO and partner universities. Travel expenses must be applied for at your own university.

  • Networking: Interdisciplinary exchange in a focused working atmosphere.

  • Workshop Language: German.

Limited Capacity
Due to the intensive nature of the supervision, the contingent is limited to 15 participants.
