For the first time, the Dr.-Martin-Herrenknecht price of 2500 EUR was awarded this year to students from the faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering; Pablo Buritica from Colombia being one of them, having achieved an outstanding result in his Master Thesis.

Carolin Lutz, ECM graduate and currently writing her PhD at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), was happy about her scholarship of 1000 EUR, sponsored by the company Meiko.

ZONTA, an international association dedicated to support women in different areas in order to improve their legal, economical, political and job situation, was represented by its president Elke Gorissen, who bestowed six women with generous awards as well, including Liubov Nosowa from Russia, first semester student from ECM.
