The University of Applied Sciences Offenburg wants to keep the positive trend of a large number of international applicants. Therefore it has taken part in various international university fairs during the last months. The German students profit from this too, because they can enjoy many interesting exchange possibilities because of the strong contact to universities abroad.

Prof. Dr. Sikora took part in the GATE-Germany organized University Fair CEE 2012 in china in October 2012 and represented the University Offenburg there in Peking, Xi’an and Chengdu. Just after that, he took part in the International Conference on Smart Grid and Clear Energy Technologies (ICSGCE 2012) in Hongkong.

Ms. Schindler represented the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg at the Europosgrados  fairs in Mexico and Columbia and visited the Universidad Nacional de Bogotá, which is striving for a partnership agreement with the faculty M+V. Prof. Jochum, who is  second supervisor to a master student of that University was also there as a guest.  Prof. Serra from the Universidad Nacional de Bogotá is planning on visiting Offenburg in June 2013.

A new university partnership has developed with the University VERITAS in Costa Rica. Prof. Gruner visited the University last October. In the same month, Ms. Teubner-Jatzlau visited Turkey with a Baden Württemberg federal state government delegation. There, they took part in two university information days for students.
